Eastenders bad boy Jack Branning finally shares a kiss with Tanya Branning... behind the back of on-off girlfriend Ronnie Mitchell.  Jack (Scott Maslen) and his sister-in law (Jo Joyner) fall into each other's arms in steamy scenes to be screened later this month after Ronnie (Sam Janus) gives him an ultimatum over their relationship.    "Tanya has tried to resist Jack's advances for months but when he makes his feelings clear she finally caves in," an insider said.

You were a model in America before appearing in The Bill. Any interesting casting couch stories? SM: Oh, many. Fashion is the land of eccentrics. I've worked with all the big names like Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein - and they're all as crazy as each other. They've had me dressed up in some strange things too - once I had to walk down a catwalk in a little leather thong with a dog on a leash. Mad. How were you 'spotted'? SM: I was on Miami beach with my mates when this guy came up to me and told me he was a photographer and slipped me his card. I thought it was just some gay guy hitting on me. Miami is a big gay capital, so it happened a lot. When I read the name on the card to my mate, he said, 'Man, that's Bruce Weber, he's huge.' So I gave him a call and started work straight away. Would you ever go back to modelling? SM: Modelling is not exactly demanding on the mind. After a few years I realised I needed to use my brain so came back to London and enrolled at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I haven't modelled for 10 years. I miss the exotic locations, but that's it.
